<3 It's always hard to get pass childhood traumas, especially when it comes to abuse from a parental or other trusted figure, but it seems to me almost that guys have it worst. Being, in part, that it's a lot more acceptable for women to be led by their emotions, but guys are always expected to be the strong, silent, stalwart types and not allow for past hurts to continue to make them ache so.
