Given our entries from recent months, let's continue with the suggested limit for this month of 500 words. Though remember that shorter pieces are most definitely welcome!
Your entry should take the following format, posted as a comment on this entry:

Remember: Feedback is LOVE. So do reply to your fellow labyficcers' drabbles if so inclined. (Though be careful of concrit unless specifically okayed by the author beforehand. Authors generally write for love.)
Now, onto this month's drabble challenge...
Going back to our drabbling origins, I thought a one-word prompt would be fun this month:
Resolution
In the spirit of the new year, is this a formal intention to do something? Or perhaps it's the act of determining a course of action. Or perhaps it's the mental state of having firmness of purpose. Or even the act of separating two things into their constituent parts (think optics).
Dictionary.reference.com wouldn't steer us wrong, now would it?
The possibilities are endless and the choice is yours -- go forth and conquer with thy drabbles!
